Sincerely Speaking Spiritually Series
Blessings to you, my dearly beloved brothers and sisters. Upon the rays of the rising sun this morning, and before I removed the sheet from my shoulders and feet touched the floor, I gave God thanks and blessings for another day and each of you. I used the “TRIP” principle this morning in giving God thanks for another day. You will find a “Thanksgiving Prayer” of grace on pages 61-62 of “Sincerely Speaking Spiritually” you may adopt in giving thanks to God. I learned this prayer from a great biblical advocate, a high school principal. It starts by giving Thanksgiving (T) to God for His blessings. Then, Repentance (R) for any offenses committed. Intercession (I) for worldwide humanity; and Petition (P) for spiritual needs, nothing temporal only spiritual. The “TRIP” acronym is easy to follow and keeps the mind on track. “Your Omnipresent Love Litany” on pages 6-7 of “Sincerely Speaking Spirituality” is a great way to follow a solid principle of rendering praise to God for His grace and blessings! Philippians 4:6 states, we should not be anxious about anything, especially with our petitions to God. Our spiritual requests strengthen our faith and qualities and give God glory. So Today, I ask God to strengthen each of you with His grace and blessings, for you to be successful in all your endeavors, and for you to give Him the glory. You will find an enlightening prayer of this nature on page 51 of “Sincerely Speaking Spiritually.” Ephesians 1: 16-18 states, “The Father of Glory may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him; enlighten your eyes, and give you riches and glory of His inheritance.” Therefore, do not neglect to mention God’s name in your prayers unto Him with
I pray that with God you will stay (Exodus 14:14). He will guide and strengthen you each day (Nehemiah 8:10). This prayer is not a question of “May?” Remember He is the Potter, and we are the clay (Isaiah 64:8). Therefore, please don’t stray (Proverb 18:10). The poem “Praising Him Always” on page 34 strengthens us in this process of praise unto God for His precious love and strength. I pray you will stay in God’s care. Your burdens He will bear (1 Peter 5: 6-7). He is always there. Pray for those who are unfair and those who are also fair. Take a walk in the open air, feel his presence, don’t just sit at home in a chair. He is everywhere (Psalm 139:7-12). You and God,
yes, the both of you were meant to be a pair. Do not despair. He will handle your affairs (2 Timothy 1:7). The poem “God’s Glory” on page 45 enhances God’s blessings in these areas! May His perpetual light continue to shine upon you, your family members, and your loved one from generation to generation. Break the shackles and walk free in His grace, love, and care.
Worshipping God! Sincerely Speaking Spiritually
extended his life for another fifteen years. Naturally, one has to give thanks to God for His blessings. The Prayer of Thanksgiving on pages 61-62 of my Modern Era Book of Psalms, “Sincerely Speaking Spiritually,” as stated by reviewers, is symbolic of such worship and thanksgiving to God for His sustaining of life in spirit and truth!
Jehoshaphat and his people were facing sure destruction from their enemies. They prayed faithfully in spirit and truth unto God for deliverance. He bowed down on the earth and prayed to God spiritually and faithfully in the middle of his assembled people. They rendered songs, praise, worship, and prayers. They were delivered and theire enemies destroyed (2 Chronicles 20:1-34). God is there to strengthen His relationship with you. He affirms fellowship, accepts prayers and worship, uplifts your faith, and grants the rendered petitions. The poem “If We Must Die” on pages 1-2, of this devout text of respect to God, “Sincerely Speaking Spiritually,” reflects such blessings from God in sustaining our lives to behold a new day of His victorious grace and blessings in our lives with spirit and truth! Today is the day to worship and acknowledge Him prayerfully, spiritually, and truthfully, my dearly beloved brothers and sisters. You may rise, lay down, face the wall, kneel, or bow down, whichever is your choice. You may raise your heads and hands to heaven or keep them lowered with a bowed head. You may sing and pray with a loud voice or do it silently, walk around or stand still; however, do it faithfully, spiritually, prayerfully, willingly, truthfully, and humbly in His sight. Remember, He knows what’s on our tongues and in our hearts before even rendering the first word unto Him (Matthew 6:8 and Psalm 139:1-4). Be encouraged, inspired, ingenious, resilient, wear His full armor, and be always blessed by worshiping Him gloriously in spirit and truth. Have a fantastic day, don’t forget to pray, stay encouraged, inspired, ingenious, resilient, mindful, enlightened, and God’s blessings always!
His Humble Servant in Grace
Professor Dr. Joseph S. Spence, Sr (Epulaeryu Master)!
Greeting my dearly beloved brothers and sisters. The topic Today is “Worshiping God.” You will find, Amazing Grace Revelations on pages 31-32 of my book of spiritual upliftment, “Sincerely Speaking Spiritually,” which reflect brilliantly on this topic. Merriam-Webster
Dictionary defines worship as: showing honor or reverence for a divine being or supernatural power; to regard with tremendous and extravagant respect, honor, or devotion; a form of religious practice with its creed and rituals. Naturally, worship is the act of attributing reverent honor and homage to God. We bow down to Him as God and King. Indeed, the above definitions are a part of Worshiping God, which we ought to do daily in spirit and truth! Hebrew 12:28 states, “Therefore since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.” Accordingly, we must worship God in praise and truth, recognizing His supremacy, His humanity, and His humility. The Apostle Paul states, “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God which is your spiritual worship” (Romans 12: 1). As a result, worshiping God strengthens our relationship with Him in spirit and truth by knowing Him greatly. Ephesians 3:18 states, “May you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is.” This wisdom and knowledge only come from worshiping Him and no other way by His grace and mercy. The poem and picture uplifting “God’s Glory” on page 45 of this reverential book of poetic grace “Sincerely Speaking Spiritually” reflect on “Worshiping God” gracefully in spirit and truth! We worship God in faith, spirit, and truth with our daily prayers unto Him by thanksgiving, strengthening our relationship with Him. For example, the prophet Isaiah visited King Hezekiah
in 2 Kings 20:1-6 and gave him this message from God, “Place your house in order because you will die.” Hezekiah, near death from his illness, faced the wall, wept sorely, and raised his voice to God spiritually with faithfulness in prayer, praise, worship, and truth. As a result, God
